Gate Driver

A gate driver is a specialized electronic component used to control the switching of power semiconductor devices, such as MOSFETs (metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors) or IGBTs (insulated gate bipolar transistors). The main function of a gate driver is to provide the required voltage and current to the gate of the power semiconductor device to turn it on or off efficiently.
